When hundreds of professionals gather in Charlotte for a major conference, capturing what happens on stage requires more than simply pointing a camera at the podium.
Trade Street Media provided conference video production at the Charlotte Convention Center for a portion of the 2025 Georgia REALTORS Annual Conference & Expo, capturing keynote presentations, audience reactions, and dynamic event footage for the organization’s post production team.
Our assignment was focused and straightforward: deliver professional, edit ready footage that gave their team multiple perspectives of the conference while maintaining excellent picture and sound quality.
Multi Camera Conference Video Production in Charlotte
For the main stage presentations, we designed a three camera production setup that provided Georgia REALTORS with several complementary angles.
One camera maintained a dependable wide shot of the stage and keynote speakers. A second camera was positioned to capture the audience, giving the editing team valuable reaction shots and coverage of the scale of the event.
Our third camera operated on a gimbal and moved throughout the room. This allowed us to capture more dynamic angles of speakers on stage along with cinematic conference b roll, audience interactions, venue details, and moments happening throughout the program.
The combination gave the post production team much more flexibility than a traditional locked off conference recording.
Instead of receiving one static view of a presentation, they had a collection of angles and visual elements that could be used to create more engaging conference videos and marketing content.
Professional Conference Audio Directly From the AV System
Great conference footage is only useful when the audio is equally strong.
We coordinated with the onsite AV team to capture professional audio directly from the venue’s sound system, providing clean recordings of the keynote speakers rather than relying on camera mounted microphones or room audio.
Working directly with an event’s AV production team is an important part of our conference workflow. It allows us to integrate our cameras and audio recording into the existing production environment without disrupting the event itself.
Working Alongside the Charlotte Convention Center Event Team
Conference video production is often a collaborative process.
Our team worked closely with the onsite AV professionals to coordinate camera positions, stage lighting, audio feeds, and production logistics before and during the program.
That coordination matters.
Large conferences have speakers, attendees, AV crews, event organizers, schedules, staging, lighting, presentations, and countless other moving pieces. A video production crew needs to fit into that environment without becoming another problem for the event team to manage.

Although recording the speakers was a primary objective, we also focused on capturing the atmosphere surrounding the conference.
Audience reactions, establishing shots, stage details, attendee interactions, and moving shots throughout the venue gave Georgia REALTORS’ editors additional material they could use to tell a larger story.
This type of conference b roll can become valuable long after the event ends. It can support recap videos, promotional campaigns, social media content, future conference marketing, speaker videos, sponsorship materials, and other digital content.
